Brake Calipers
Brake Calipers serve as the assembly that houses the brake pads and pistons. Their primary function is to apply pressure on the brake pads against the brake discs to create friction, which in turn slows down or stops the vehicle. ABS has an active range of more than 3,500 brake calipers for European and Asian vehicles. Refurbished ABS brake calipers always have new rubber parts, new pistons and springs and a new handbrake mechanism.
The car brake calipers are plated with a high-tech coating which is a sustainable way to protect the caliper during its lifetime. In addition to regular calipers, ABS also has a wide range of calipers with an electronic parking brake unit (EPB). All of the brake calipers from ABS have EAC approval.
